- Design and syntheses of supramolecular systems, e.g., nanotubes and inclusion complexes of cyclodextrins, rotaxanes, molecular chemosensors, and the investigation on their physico- chemical properties.
- Investigation on energy transfer in supramolecular systems.
- Preparation of nanostructures, nanoparticles, clusters, microgels, and inorganic-organic hybrid nanomaterials by γ-irradiation; radiation chemistry of supramolecular systems, e.g., the generation of hydrated electrons in microemulsions.
- Studies on structural information and physico-chemical properties of W/O microemulsions and ionic liquids-based microemulsions, and on the application in the field of extraction.
- Application of ionic liquids in the field of extraction.
- Application of ionic imprinted polymers for the separation of nuclides.
