The 13th National Symposium on Phosphorus Chemistry and Chemical Industry of the Chinese Chemical Society

      On November 8th to 10th, 2024, the 13th National Symposium on Phosphorus Chemistry and Chemical Industry of the Chinese Chemical Society was held in Changsha, Hunan, China. Prof. Zhang led a team from our group to attend the conference and exchange academic ideas with colleagues who specialized in phosphorus chemistry. They also gave an academic report on "Organic Phosphorus Green Manufacturing Technology" at the conference.
      This conference brought together experts and scholars in the phosphorus chemistry field from all over China, with the theme of "Starting from 'Phosphorus', Exploring the Latest Progress and Application Innovations in the New Era of Phosphorus Chemistry and Chemical Industry". The conference comprehensively discussed the latest developments and future development directions in various important branches of phosphorus chemistry and its related application fields. The topics covered include inorganic phosphorus chemistry, organic phosphorus chemistry, phosphochemistry biology, and phosphorus chemical industry, showcasing innovative breakthroughs and research trends in the field of phosphorus chemistry. During the conference, the team members studied the reports of senior experts from all over the country, learned about the latest scientific research achievements and industrial application prospects of phosphorus chemistry. At the same time, they actively participated in exchanges and discussions with their peers, not only learned valuable academic experience, but also gained a clearer idea of their future research plans.
      Through this participation,
the team members felt the vibrant development of phosphorus chemistry research and its vast application potential in future science and technology. This provided new impetus for the team's further exploration and innovation in the field of white phosphorus chemistry. In particular, the frontier insights provided by the conference on the direct conversion of white phosphorus without chlorine into high-value organic phosphorus products are of great guiding significance for the research work. Looking forward, scientific research and industrialization application of phosphorus chemistry in China will continue to move towards broader directions. The team members are full of confidence and look forward to contributing to the development of phosphorus chemistry through further research.
